Website / Etc. Development
Back-end, Front-end and maybe a little Side-to-Side
–– Working on websites is something I have a lot of fun with. Back in the early 2000’s when I worked at an awesome Internet Service Provider in San Diego called NetHere, I worked around the server side of things, so I get what makes a website tick on the back-end. Curiosity soon got the best of me and I found myself enrolled at Platt College, chasing a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on web and video development. NetHere was an awesome job to have at the time because they were nice enough to let me work the 11pm – 7am shift while I was going to school during the day.
I was truly blessed to be able to move on from that job into a position that required frequent travel to China, doing what I was going to school for. I quickly learned that regulations and standards vary from country to country which was a great learning experience. You’d be surprised about all of the “can and can not’s” or the “do’s and do not’s” you come across in China.
Since the China days, I’ve lone-wolfed hundreds of websites with many different flavors over the years for my employer, and because of the intimate nature of having to learn everything about the project or company to build a comprehensive website, I’ve become an integral part of those projects outside of the realm of 1’s and 0’s, but my primary concern for the company is always the creation and maintenance of websites, emails, and data security. I love what I do and never fail to deliver.
